Hola from South America.  We are the Drum Family -Billy, Laurie, Ryan, Miles and Sarah- and we have been serving the Lord since 1996 in Mexico, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Texas and Peru.

In 2005 we received the call to serve in South America.  After a lengthy process of preparation, including fundraising, cross-cultural mission training and language training, Billy, Laurie, and Sarah joined The Mission Society to work with their South American mission team in Peru. We are working alongside Peruvians in discipleship, agrimissions, children’s ministries, and facilitating short term mission teams throughout Peru.  Our passion is to share the love of Christ with the people of Peru and to help Peruvian nationals carry out the Great Commission of making disciples throughout all nations.

Our oldest son, Ryan, is working to complete his degree at Texas A&M Kingsville while also serving along the Texas-Mexico border.  Our youngest son, Miles, is working to finish high school in our hometown of Navasota, Texas.  He is also serving through the youth group at Christ United Methodist Church through UMARMY, helping with vacation bible school, and participating in Young Life.
