Training
Laurie and Billy are deeply involved in training up the next generation of mission and ministry workers around the globe. Laurie directly oversees the on-going training and formation for cross-cultural workers serving in 36 countries. Billy provides trainings for a variety of teams and individuals globally.
Laurie is passionate about training and empowering facilitators who can train others in culture, communication, and effective mission strategy. She currently leads a cohort of 26 mission training facilitators who are leading trainings on 6 continents. |
Care
The Drums care for, mentor, and provide counseling for hundreds of international ministry workers and global leaders. Through coaching, counseling, leading spiritual retreats, and debriefing, The Drum's work helps increase resiliency and well-being for pastors, cross-cultural leaders, and aid workers.
Billy conducts care and counseling for global leaders and ministry workers who serve in many countries and ministries. By keeping these people healthy and thriving, they are able to be more effective in their work and ministries worldwide. Billy’s care materials have been translated into several languages. Leadership Development
Laurie and Billy have a passion for equipping teams, ministry workers, and emerging leaders to learn about culture and to love their neighbors well so that all people and all nations will hear and know the love of Christ.
The Drums are actively engaged in discipleship, mentoring, and coaching of ministry workers and global leaders, both locally in Spain and globally. They meet regularly with pastors and leaders to help them grow in their spiritual formation, leadership skills, and strategic outreach to their communities. |
Global Impact
The Drum’s work impacts ministries around the world. Some of these include community development, education, trauma care, refugee outreach, church planting, economic development among the poor, feeding programs, media and evangelism, outdoor education, medical missions, racial reconciliation, and more.
