 We are so glad you stopped by. We are Billy, Laurie, Ryan, Miles and Sarah Drum. After many years of serving Christ as short-term mission project coordinators in Mexico, we have accepted God’s call to serve as full time cross-cultural witnesses in Peru with the Mission Society.
We are currently attending language school in San Jose, Cost Rica. Our entire family is involved in language school. Billy and Laurie are taking grammer, phonetics and conversations in total emersion classes. Miles and Sarah are enrolled in and American School in Costa Rica. Ryan is taking advanced classes in Spanish with other college students. Our children Miles and Sarah will be joining us in our ministry while our oldest son Ryan is attending college at Texas A&M -Kingsville. In Peru, we will work with short term mission teams, children's bible study, adult discipleship, agri-missions, and community outreach. Laurie will also be teaching in a local school in the Andes Mountains. Did you know that there are currently 1600+ children participating in Kid's Club bible studies in Peru? There are over 200 men and women in a village in the Amazon jungle who are waiting for someone to come and teach them more about Jesus Christ. There are 3000 homeless children on the streets of Huancayo, Peru every day. There is great need... the harvest is plenty, but the workers are few. We have a strong desire to build cross-cultural relationships and show the love of Christ to the people of Peru. We are excited about the challenges God has presented to us and look forward to serving along side others currently serving in Peru. We are actively seeking partners to join our great adventure for God either financially or with prayer. |
